William H. Harrison papers, 1856-1868.

Letters from family members and friends. Many letters are from Harrison's sister Julia Bowerman, of Liberty, Henry County, Ohio, and describe her reactions to the Civil War. The collection includes several letters from Harrison's brother Charles V. Harrison, who served in Co. G, 25th Ohio Infantry, and was killed at Gettysburg, and one letter from Thomas Tulley of Co. A., 3rd Ohio Cavalry. These letters describe battles and other military experiences.
